Who We Help
We reach some of the poorest and most vulnerable populations in Kenya through the implementation of several programmes. WCF supports one hundred orphans and abandoned children living with HIV. They receive full time care in a stable and loving home in Nairobi. Many of them are abandoned at birth and live in the children’s home until they are healthy, educated, and self-reliant. An additional 1,000 children impacted by HIV/AIDS live in a village setting in small cottages with their elderly caregivers. They receive medical care, education, psychosocial support, shelter, and food. Each year, the programme also serves more than 15,000 families through community outreach and assists these struggling families to meet the complex needs of children in their care suffering with HIV.
