Location: Mozambique
Impact area: Orphan Care, Shelter, Feeding, Education, Medical, Child Protection
After the death of their parents, many orphaned children have no one to care for them. Children do not want to be separated from their siblings and will continue trying to survive together. They have no supervision. They are vulnerable. They drop out of school and are forced into exploitative and dangerous work for their survival. Because of generous donor support, orphaned and vulnerable children in Mozambique have a safe place to call home and a comprehensive program that meets their daily emotional and physical needs.
